Tonights Menu: Pork Loin and Seasoned Red Potatoes

One of Dave's favorite meals is pork loin.  I have a recipe I like to use that is my best friend Sarah's Dad's recipe.  It tends to be spicy and since I have a sensitive tongue I make it less spicy.  But Dave prefers it spicy. I don't have permission to give that recipe out, but I do want to share a recipe of some potatoes that are a hit at our house.  My Michaela can be a pretty picky eater and she wanted not only seconds but thirds of these.  They are really easy to make.

Ingredients:
12 to 14 small red potatoes (If you have bigger red potatoes just do less)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Peel a strip around each potato.  Place the potatoes in an ungreased baking dish.  In a small bowl, combine the oil, butter and seasonings; drizzle over potatoes.
Bake, uncovered at 350, for 50-55 minutes or until tender, stirring every 15 minutes.

Give them a try!
